Day trips by private chauffeur: what people ask.
With GR8 Transfers, $1,000 per car for 8 hours (Kiama and Sea Cliff Bridge) or $1,250 for 10 hours (the Hunter Valley or Jervis Bay), door to door in the Executive Sedan. The Executive SUV, for four, is $1,100 or $1,375. You choose the stops; tastings, tickets and meals are paid at each venue.
It depends on how you ride. A one-way trip, or a drop-off and collection, is priced on the route: each experience page lists its fares by vehicle. A day package with a car and chauffeur is $750 for 6 hours, $1,000 for 8 hours or $1,250 for 10 hours in the Executive Sedan. Every fare is per car, not per person.
With drop-off and collection, your chauffeur leaves after dropping you and comes back at the time you set; it costs exactly two one-way fares. With wait and return, the chauffeur stays nearby and drives you back when you are ready; the first hour of waiting is free and each hour after that is charged at the waiting rate.
The first hour is free. After that, waiting is $90 per hour in the Executive Sedan, $100 in the Executive SUV, $120 in the Premium Sedan and $130 in the Premium SUV. The booking form adds it to the fixed fare for the hours you choose, so the total is known before you pay.
Up to 3 passengers in the Executive Sedan or Premium Sedan and up to 4 in the Executive SUV or Premium SUV. A People Mover for 6 to 7 is quoted on request. Larger groups travel in two or more cars on the same schedule; GR8 does not run coaches for groups of 13 or more.
No. The venue or operator sells the experience: tickets, tastings, cruises and flights. GR8 Transfers provides the private car, the chauffeur, door-to-door pickup, waiting and a fixed fare. Each page links to the venue so you can book the experience directly.
Yes. Child seats and boosters are fitted free on request; tell us the children’s ages when you book. We do not carry rear-facing baby capsules, and our vehicles are not wheelchair accessible.
You can cancel a GR8 booking free of charge up to 1 hour before pickup. Weather-dependent experiences such as balloon flights, cruises and whale watching can be called off by the operator, so check their terms as well.
