Medical transfers to Sydney’s hospitals.

Calm, door-to-door non-emergency transfers to Sydney’s major hospitals — fixed fares, wait-and-return, and a support person always free.

Non-emergency medical transfers from the North Coast to Sydney’s hospitals at a fixed all-inclusive fare, door to door — with wait-and-return for day procedures, direct invoicing for NDIS plans and aged-care providers, and a support person travelling free. Please note our vehicles are not wheelchair-accessible; we’re glad to assist passengers who can transfer to a standard seat, and foldable wheelchairs and walkers travel free.

Medical transfers

Hospital days are hard enough.

Specialist appointments, scans, treatment cycles and day surgery in Sydney usually mean a stressful drive, expensive hospital parking and a tired trip home. Our medical transfer service replaces all of that with one calm, door-to-door arrangement — the same chauffeur where possible, unhurried at both ends, and a fare that’s settled before the day begins.

For day procedures, ask about wait-and-return: your chauffeur stays nearby during your appointment and brings you straight home after, so there’s no second booking and no waiting on the kerb post-anaesthetic.

  • Door to department — we drop at the correct hospital entrance, not just the street, and help you inside if needed.
  • Wait-and-return — one booking covers the whole day for procedures and treatment sessions.
  • Support person rides free — a family member or carer always travels at no extra charge.
  • NDIS & aged-care invoicing — plan-managed and self-managed NDIS participants and aged-care providers can be invoiced directly.
  • Gentle, patient service — extra time at pickup, temperature set your way, quiet, refined cabin for the trip.

Accessibility — the honest version

What we can and can’t do.

Our vehicles are not wheelchair-accessible — there is no hoist or ramp. We’re very happy to assist passengers who can transfer from a wheelchair into a standard car seat, and foldable wheelchairs, walkers and mobility aids travel free in the luggage area. If you need a hoist-equipped vehicle, a dedicated wheelchair-accessible service will serve you better — and we’ll say so rather than book a trip that doesn’t suit you.

Frequently asked questions

No — our vehicles don’t have a hoist or ramp. We happily assist passengers who can transfer to a standard seat, and foldable wheelchairs, walkers and mobility aids travel free. If you require a hoist-equipped vehicle, we’ll recommend a specialist provider instead.
Yes — we provide compliant invoices for plan-managed and self-managed NDIS participants and can invoice aged-care providers directly. Mention it when booking and we’ll set it up before travel.
For day procedures and appointments, your chauffeur waits nearby while you’re seen and drives you home afterwards — one booking, one quoted price, no post-procedure scramble for transport.
Always — one support person travels free on every medical transfer, and more seats are available in the same vehicle at no per-person charge.
No — we provide non-emergency, pre-booked transport only. For emergencies always call 000. For planned appointments, treatment cycles and discharges, we’re exactly the right fit.
Possibly — but be realistic about what IPTAAS covers. The NSW Isolated Patients Travel and Accommodation Assistance Scheme is a subsidy, not a full reimbursement. To be eligible you generally need to be a NSW resident enrolled in Medicare, travelling 100 km or more one way (or 200 km in a week) to the nearest specialist service. Private-car travel is subsidised at 40c per kilometre, and assistance toward taxi or rideshare travel is capped at a modest amount per appointment period. We are happy to provide a clear tax invoice showing the date, route and fare so you can lodge a claim — but please check your eligibility and current rates with NSW Health directly, as the scheme's rules and rates are reviewed periodically.
All of the major ones regional patients are referred to — Royal Prince Alfred (Camperdown), Chris O'Brien Lifehouse, Westmead and the Children's Hospital at Westmead, St Vincent's (Darlinghurst), Royal North Shore (St Leonards) and Prince of Wales (Randwick), plus private hospitals and specialist rooms. We drop at the entrance you actually need, not the nearest car park.
Once you add it up, often not. NSW public hospital parking is capped at a maximum daily fee (currently around $24.70 a day), and a multi-day stay or repeat appointments add up quickly — on top of fuel, tolls and the drive itself. Concession rates do exist for eligible patients and carers, so ask the hospital. The bigger factor is usually not money: after a procedure or a long day of treatment, walking back through a car park is the last thing most patients want.
Yes, fitted free on request. This matters more than people realise: in NSW, taxis have an exemption allowing a child over 12 months to travel in an adult seatbelt, but hire cars like ours do not — we follow the same rules as a private vehicle, so every child under 7 travels in an approved, correctly fitted restraint. Tell us your child's age when booking and the right seat will be in the car.
