Local knowledge

Huskisson, Hyams Beach and the Basin.

Jervis Bay pickups start in Huskisson, with its whale-watching boats and the Jervis Bay Maritime Museum, and run around the bay to Vincentia and Hyams Beach. Further on are Jervis Bay Village, HMAS Creswell and Booderee National Park in the Jervis Bay Territory. The north shore covers Callala Bay, Callala Beach and Currarong, and to the south-west sit St Georges Basin, Sanctuary Point, Basin View and Sussex Inlet. Holiday stays and glamping around Woollamia take the Woollamia fare.

"Jervis Bay" on this page means Huskisson. Every other locality has its own line in the table above.

Sydney Airport or Western Sydney International?

From Jervis Bay the shortest road to Western Sydney International runs inland via Nowra, Kangaroo Valley and the Hume Motorway, so WSI costs less than Sydney Airport: Huskisson to WSI is $580, against $610 to T1. The fare stays fixed whichever road your chauffeur takes.

Being straight with you

Jervis Bay has no train, so here are the real options.

The nearest station is Bomaderry, 20 to 30 minutes from Huskisson, and from 15 November 2026 the rail trip from there to the terminals needs two or three changes (ABC News, NSW Government). For most Jervis Bay travellers the practical choice is between the coach, driving yourself and a car from the door.

Coach (Premier Motor Service)Daily Sydney–Eden coach stops on the highway at Bewong, Wandandian and the Sussex Inlet turn-off, and at both airport terminalsLowYou still need a lift to the highway, and there is one service a day

Premier's coach route lists highway stops at Bewong, Wandandian and the Sussex Inlet turn-off (Premier Motor Service). From Huskisson or Hyams Beach, any of those still needs a car to start with. That is why a door-to-door car makes sense from Jervis Bay.
