Parking
Cricket Australia says there are no prepaid car parks at the SCG, only drive-up car parks, so allow extra time if you drive.

How event nights work at Moore Park.
Drop-off and pick-up
Errol Flynn Boulevard, off Lang Road, is the drop-off and pick-up point Transport for NSW and the Entertainment Quarter name for events, with a taxi rank near the Hordern. Driver Avenue is partly closed outside the stadiums during big events (no through traffic) and reopens once crowds clear. We confirm the point for your event before the day.
Clearways
On big event days special event clearways with towing apply on parts of Moore Park Road, Lang Road, Cleveland Street, Albion Street, Fitzroy Street and nearby streets, so a car cannot simply wait at the kerb.
Parking
The Entertainment Quarter car park charges a flat $30 on event days and cannot be pre-booked: spaces go first in, first parked. None of Moore Park’s event car parks take pre-bookings, and the grass car parks do not open for every event.
Light rail and trains
The L2 and L3 light rail lines stop at Moore Park on Anzac Parade and run until 1am; Central is a 20 to 25 minute walk. Some tickets include public transport (Iron Maiden, the Rugby League World Cup semi-finals, 2026/27 A-League home games and the Sixers’ Boxing Day game do), so check yours.
After the game
Transport for NSW warns of queues for light rail after big events, and rideshare pick-up may be restricted near the stadium. Your GR8 fare is fixed when you book and your chauffeur meets you at the agreed point.
