Taxis and rideshare

The valley's destination management plan names missing taxi and rideshare cover between experiences, venues and accommodation as a barrier for visitors. One rideshare company's own Cessnock page warns that pickups can take longer than in big cities.

Coach day tours

Coach day trips from Sydney mean an early start from a set city pickup and a fixed route lasting 11 to 12 hours. They suit a day out without plans of your own.

Event shuttles

Big winery concerts add ticketed buses from set pick-up points, and some run shuttles from Nulkaba every 30 minutes. They cost less per seat but run to a timetable.

Cover is limited, according to the valley's own planning. Cessnock Council's destination plan flags missing taxi and rideshare links between venues and places to stay.
