The GR8 Transfers fare from Thirroul to Sydney Airport is a fixed $265 to T1 International and $275 to the T2/T3 domestic terminals in the Executive Sedan. Western Sydney International (WSI) is $260. To T1 the Premium Sedan is $350, the Executive SUV $293 and the Premium SUV $380; a People Mover (6–7 passengers) is quoted on request. Fares are per vehicle, include tolls, GST and the NSW levy, and are the same in both directions. A return is exactly double.

From the escarpment villages to the terminal.
The Northern Illawarra is three different pickups in one. Helensburgh and Otford sit at the top of the M1, close enough to Sydney that the airport run is under an hour. Stanwell Park, Coalcliff, Wombarra and Coledale hang off Lawrence Hargrave Drive and the Sea Cliff Bridge, where we come down the coast road to your door. Thirroul, Austinmer, Bulli and Woonona line the old highway, a few minutes from the motorway on-ramps.
Every one of those villages has its own fixed fare in the table above, so a Helensburgh pickup is priced as Helensburgh, not as Thirroul. If your street isn't listed, type it into the booking form and it takes the fare of the nearest listed village.
Sydney Airport or Western Sydney International?
From Thirroul, Bulli and Woonona, Western Sydney International is practically the same distance as Sydney Airport. The road climbs Bulli Pass and runs inland on Appin Road, so the WSI fare is a few dollars lower. From Helensburgh, Otford and Stanwell Park it is the other way round: WSI is about 28 km further, so Sydney Airport is the natural choice unless your airline only flies from WSI.
Thirroul to Sydney Airport by train, car or chauffeur.
The line runs through almost every village from Helensburgh to Woonona, so the train is a real option. Until 14 November 2026, South Coast Line trains stop at Wolli Creek, the simple change for the airport. From 15 November 2026 they run into Central instead of Bondi Junction and no longer stop at Wolli Creek, so getting to the terminals by train means changing at Sutherland or Hurstville and again at Wolli Creek, or riding into Central and back out on the Airport Line (ABC News, NSW Government).

The northern villages are all on the line: Helensburgh, Otford, Stanwell Park, Coalcliff, Scarborough, Wombarra, Coledale, Austinmer, Thirroul, Bulli and Woonona. For a solo traveller on a mid-morning flight the train is still a sensible choice. A car earns its fare on 6am departures, with children and luggage, or when four of you would otherwise buy four train tickets.
