The 24-hour cargo precinct began operating, with the first Qantas freighter departing on the evening of 27 July.

25 October 2026

Passenger flights begin. Jetstar operates the first commercial service — an A320 to the Gold Coast at 11am — building to Melbourne, Gold Coast and Brisbane routes.

From 26 October 2026

Air New Zealand starts Auckland services. Singapore Airlines flies daily to Changi from 23 November 2026. Qantas adds Brisbane and Melbourne from 28 March 2027.
