Three ways out of the city to the airport.
Which way is quickest depends on where in the city you start and on the traffic at the time.
The Eastern Distributor south (M1), toll-free this way
From the east of the city your chauffeur joins the Eastern Distributor at Woolloomooloo and runs down Southern Cross Drive to both terminals. The Eastern Distributor charges no toll southbound.
Usual from: Macquarie Street, Martin Place, Circular Quay, The Rocks, Hyde Park
The Cross City Tunnel east, onto the Eastern Distributor
From the west of the city the Cross City Tunnel runs east under Bathurst Street and connects straight onto the Eastern Distributor southbound, so the trip skips the cross-town streets. Tolled.
Usual from: Darling Harbour, ICC Sydney, Town Hall, Darling Square
The Anzac Bridge, the M8 and Sydney Gateway
Across the Anzac Bridge to Rozelle, where your chauffeur joins the WestConnex M8 tunnels south to St Peters, then Sydney Gateway into T1 or T2/T3. Tolled, by distance.
Usual from: Barangaroo, Pyrmont, Rozelle, Balmain, White Bay Cruise Terminal
Your chauffeur checks live traffic before the pickup and takes whichever of the three is quickest at the time. The fare is the same on every route and already includes the tolls, so the route never changes what you pay.
