The routes

How your chauffeur gets you there and back.

From the airport

Your chauffeur takes Southern Cross Drive north from either terminal and picks the way across on live traffic. For Bondi the last stretch is usually through Bondi Junction; for Rose Bay and Vaucluse it is usually New South Head Road along the harbour; for Darlinghurst, the Eastern Distributor to William Street.

Back to the airport

The same roads in reverse, with the Eastern Distributor toll-free southbound. For an early flight we work the pickup time back from Sydney Airport’s advice (3 hours before an international flight, 2 hours before a domestic flight with checked bags) and the time of day.

Tolls and traffic

Every toll is inside the fixed fare, and the fare doesn’t change if the traffic does. Bondi Beach is usually 25 to 45 minutes from the airport by car.

It depends on the definition. Darlinghurst is an inner-city suburb immediately east of the CBD, in the City of Sydney council area, and is often counted as an eastern suburb. The Australian Bureau of Statistics’ Eastern Suburbs region is built around the Waverley, Woollahra and Randwick council areas, which include Bondi, Rose Bay and Vaucluse. Either way, GR8 Transfers has a fixed fare for each.
Bondi Beach is roughly 14 km from the airport by road and usually 25 to 45 minutes by car, depending on the traffic. Your chauffeur picks the route on live traffic and the fare stays the same.

We drive there too. Suburbs without a fixed fare on this page, such as Potts Point, Double Bay, Paddington, Point Piper, Watsons Bay, Bronte and Coogee, are priced on the road distance in the booking form, and you see the fixed fare before you pay.
Inside the terminal, in the arrivals hall, with a name board: at T1 International once you clear customs and walk out into arrivals, and at T2 or T3 Domestic in the arrivals area. A message with your chauffeur’s exact meeting point is waiting when you switch off flight mode.
Yes, child car seats and booster seats are fitted free on request. NSW law requires an approved restraint for children under 7 in hire vehicles, so tell us the ages when you book (we don’t carry rear-facing baby capsules).
